For anyone wondering what it is I’ve been doing outside of class, this is what. Not quite done, but it’s getting there.
The glaive for Palkia is six feet tall and the shield has a thirty inch diameter.

Hey guys, I’m all ready for Wondercon, come find me!
So I finally finished painting my new Equius horns. Here’s the final product- bonus audio of Alex getting excited over Maplestory followed by a durability test.
At ALA 2013, one of my room mates invited a bunch of his friends over, and they smashed my horns while I was out. No one told me or bothered to try to clean up the mess they made, and they got stepped on repeatedly for hours because people can’t spot bright orange and yellow horns sitting on the floor. So, here’re my new horns so far.
So there’s this foam/nerf war coming up in March, and I’m on a team called the Fist of Mars. We’re the hand of Ares, and we deal out his punishment and blessing. We are his gift to the battlefield. All of our weapons are named after weapons from mythologies found around the world. I decided I’d make two war cleavers of similar design, with the actual one for cosplay being called Caladbolg, and this foam one, pictured here, named Kladenets.
Finished building the core for the forearm and upper arm, now I get to build all the aesthetic pieces that make it special!

So, uhh, because of the way I decided to build my Vriska arm, I have to sleep with the core parts on because they can’t come off until I finish building the shell over it. This is not gonna be fun.
